The award was presented by Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal during the 9th International Fire, Safety & Security Expo 2024 held in Dhaka. A representative of Rancon Developments received the award and safety certification on behalf of the company.
Organized annually by the Electronic Safety & Security Association of Bangladesh (ESSAB), the Safety Excellence Award recognizes outstanding achievements in building safety across four categories: Residential Buildings, Commercial Buildings, Industrial Buildings (RMG & Textile), and Industrial Buildings (Other Sectors).
The evaluation process is conducted by an independent jury board comprising technical experts from BUET and other leading universities, professional engineers and architects, members of Fire Service & Civil Defence, and ESSAB technical specialists.
Participating buildings undergo a rigorous multi-stage assessment based on internationally recognized fire safety and security standards. The jury evaluates the effectiveness, reliability, and compliance of installed fire and life-safety systems before selecting the top-performing projects in each category.
Following a comprehensive review process, ESSAB recognizes three projects in every category—Champion, First Runner-Up, and Second Runner-Up. Rancon Developments' achievement as Champion in the Residential Building Category reflects the company's unwavering dedication to quality construction, resident safety, and industry-leading standards.
